A group of 11 Y5 children went Ghyll Scrambling in the Lake District at a place called Tilbertwaite near to Coniston in October along with Mr Main, Mrs Price, Mrs Armer and Mrs McCamley.
The trip was organised as part of our links with Morecambe High’s Outdoor Education Department, and as you can see from the pictures, a fabulous day was had by all.
Ghyll Scrambling involves climbing up a mountain stream. Everybody wore full waterproofs and a hard hat because of the overhanging branches on the river bank.
Well done to all involved…good practice for going to Tower Wood next February!!
